And so to West Green Safety Issue – Number 3!

West Green 40mph Speed Limit

At my surgery yesterday two residents (thank you P and L) raised concerns that there is a 40mph speed limit when approaching Pocklington via West Green. This must be changed to a 30mph limit as motorists are entering a built up area. In addition, the road markings must also be removed.

The danger is clear for all to see.

I have requested ERYC officers make the situation safe at earliest opportunity.

Communication Failure

Yet again, why have Pocklington Town Council and/or the two Conservative Ward members not ensured ERYC officers resolve the situation?
