I have been contacted by a gentleman who had requested my phone number from Pocklington Town Council. He was informed they do not have it.

I have just phoned Richard Wood, the Town Clerk, who defended the Town Councils position stating they had not been given it. On numerous occasions Pocklington Town Council councillors have phoned me. Indeed I personally posted my election material through the Pocklington Town Council post box which contained my contact details.

After taking my number he abruptly put the phone down on me when I questioned why they had not added my number to their records.
