On Monday evening I received a phone call from a distraught resident explaining how she and her friends had found Pocklington Cemetery to be badly maintained. At 06.30 yesterday, on my way to County Hall. I pop down to take a look.

As can be seen from the photo above the cemetery is a disgrace. I raised the issue at last nights Pocklington Town Council meeting.

Unfortunately as a Ward Councillor I can do nothing about the situation, apart from highlight it, as the maintenance is the duty of Pocklington Town Council.
