A couple of months ago residents from Scaife Garth asked me to look into the possibility of improving parking for residents who live in the bungalows. Many of the residents are disabled.

I am pleased to confirm that ERYC are able to undertake the work at Scaife Garth within this year’s budget. The plan is to remove some of the grass area to make a functional car park.

An officer has met with the Engineer this morning and agreed the project.  However, a start date has yet to be determined and this will depend on how long the background works take to complete. This will include a consultation with residents on the proposed scheme and look at any views they may have.
