Yesterday in Market Place Closed Too Early I reported how Market Place had been closed too early on Market day. I am pleased to say ERYC have apologised for this.

An ERYC officer has confirmed this will not be repeated:

“The bollards should not be placed across the road in advance of 8am, they are generally stored around the sign and put out at 8am. If on this occasion they were put out prior to this time I would like to apologise, and, I will speak to all members of staff to avoid further incidents.”
