Catholic School Flooding Concerns

Yesterday I met with a Governor of the Catholic School to hear of their concerns regards flooding.

The school was flooded in 2007, but apart from some minor pruning six months ago, ERYC have not maintained their land between the school rails and Pocklington Beck for many years.

As the Environment Agency will undertake a full walk through the Pocklington Beck in the New Year I have requested ERYC to consider the cutting back of the bank at the earliest opportunity.
