Councillor Symon Fraser, Portfolio Holder for Asset Management, Housing and Environment at the Council meeting of 12 October informed members that if a building was surplus to requirements and that those using the building could be housed elsewhere the building would be sold and the raised finance invested back into the community it was previously used by.
I raised with him the issue of Pocklington Youth Club and he requested that I email him my questions.
- What benefit did Pocklington receive from the sale of the Youth Club?
- How can you support your claim that those using the building, in this case Pocklington Youth Club, were rehoused?
- How much did ERYC receive for the sale of the Youth Club?
