After two months of not working I am delighted to announce that the West Green Car Park lights are once again working.

At the moment the time switch is currently overridden so the lights are on all night. ERYC will send someone out this week to put them back to part night working.

However, local residents prefer that they remain on the same time as the street lights as this has the advantage of increasing personal safety, which has become a concern to the West Green residents of late.

I have made this request to ERYC.

An ERYC engineer is meeting the Clerk of the Pocklington Town Council this afternoon and will ask him the question as to how he wants to proceed, as the lights belong to them.
