ERYC To Address Pavement Disability Issues

I am delighted to announce that as part of the “snagging” the issues I raised with regards the recent Pavement project will be addressed.

These include:

  1. Removing the bollard
  2. Lowering the dropped kerbs to 6mm
  3. Revisiting the need for three Loading bays.

Thank You Paul

I would like to thank Paul Bellotti, ERYC Director of Environment and Neighbourhood Services for meeting with me last Thursday to discuss the issues raised.

Pocklington and Wolds Gateway Partnership

Gateway was set up by Pocklington Town Council.

In essence it is made up of PTC Councillors and ERYC Conservative Ward Councillors, Councillor Mole and West along with a few other individuals.

Given all the “snagging” required I am surprised that Gateway congratulated ERYC:

“The Pavement works have been very well done. Thank you”

Given the obvious lack of understand by Gateway of fundamental disability legislation I refer them to the Access Audit Pavement Pocklington report.
