The following is a public announcement from Yorkshire Water.

“As you’re aware, we had hoped to start work to replace the water main along Burnby Lane from next week, closing the road for six weeks. Unfortunately, this work has had to be postponed.

We’re still committed to carrying this work out and are liaising with ERYC’s highways department to understand when we can return to undertake it. I will be issuing a letter today to local residents letting them know and assuring them we’ll keep them updated once we have a new start date.
