A former East Riding councillor has gone on trial accused of sex offences spanning nearly 35 years.
Arthur Hodgson, 70, faces seven allegations of indecent assault and two of sexual assault.
Hodgson, of Church Lane, Keyingham, denies all the charges.
A Hull Crown Court jury of seven women and five men heard the allegations span from 1979 to 2013.
Two allegations relate to a woman, with the other seven concerning girls who were aged between 11 and 14 at the time.
The trial continues and is expected to last about a week.
