Residents will soon realise why Pocklington Town Council (PTC) Emergency Plan was kept top-secret when they read it for themselves.

One of the scenarios that the plan has to cope with is Pocklington being cut off.

I have informed ERYC that I will get back to them within 48 hours highlighting the failures of the plan. This is just a start:

1. There is no plan if Pocklington is cut off.
2. If Pocklington is cut off residents do not know what to do.
3. The phone system could be down – none of the 14 councillors/clerk have stated their address.
4. There is no section 7 (see page 7).
