I am delighted to announce that the issue with Storking Lane junction, Wilberfoss will be addressed next week.
“The problem is being caused by a combination of the hot weather and vehicle turning movements on a surface dressing that was carried out last year. Ordinarily treating the area with a grit dust will suffice but, given the quantity of free binder at this location, it is felt that planing out the area and inlaying with a tarmac wearing course will be a more robust option. Weather permitting this will take place next Wednesday/Thursday which I trust is acceptable.”
Well done ERYC for the prompt action.
