Environment Agency – Response

I raised the issues in Environment Agency Failure To Clean Pock Beck with the EA. I would like to thank the EA for their prompt response.

“I am not aware of any CCTV reports that recommend a clean out of the culverts in Pocklington.

All the information I hold suggests that since we cleared out the culverts in 2008 they have remained relatively clear or gravel and debris and therefore there hasn’t been a requirement to undertake additional maintenance work.

We have undertaken some repairs to sections of the culvert in recent years and other than removing the odd sheet of ply there has been little gravel build up.

I am expecting another full CCTV survey to be undertaken this financial year.”

My Apologies

Given this statement I have apologised to the EA but I do not question my source.
