Stamford Bridge Slide Update

I am pleased to share an update from ERYC regards the installation of the new slide for Stamford Bridge.

“The new slide has been delivered and my inspector and myself trial fitted it on site and it fits perfectly.  In order to permanently fix the slide we need to excavate down and prepare a concrete base, allow this to set and then bolt the slide to this and backfill with concrete and install a new safety surface. Due to the amount of work required we have decided to wait until after the summer holidays as we do not want open excavations on site whilst the play area is busy.  The slide has been cordoned off with a full panel and there is an alternative slide on this piece of equipment so the play value has not been reduced significantly.”
