ERYC have confirmed that parking will soon be allowed on a Tuesday in Market Place after the Market has closed.

There will be a proposal put forward following appropriate consultation for the Tuesday 6am to 6pm parking restriction to be revoked. This  could be replaced by extending the legal framework to permit the closure of Market Place on Market Day to include banning of parking while the Market is still in progress and the barriers still in situ.

ERYC officers are hopefully to make the necessary changes before the end of the year.

At this time I would however remind people that the current restriction are in place and remain enforceable.
