It is with sadness that I received the statement below from Conservative Councillor Claude Mole declining an open public meeting.

“Dear Andy,

Having discussed the matter with Kay we are of the opinion that there are ample opportunities,through a whole range of forums,within our wards, to engage with residents.

We feel, therefore, an open public meeting would serve no practical purpose however well intentioned.

I will always welcome the opportunity to answer residents questions with Councillor Mole and West in an open public meeting in the same way Parish Councillors do.
