Mayfields Maintenance – ERYC Responsibility

In Mayfields Litter Referred To Developer I explained how ERYC would bring to the attention of the developer, Linden Homes, the litter in the Broadmanor Landscape Belt – Wildlife Corridor.

I have since learnt that the tree belt was adopted by  ERYC in 2011. As such ERYC should be maintaining it.

I have questioned ERYC as to whether we should have requested Linden Homes to maintain that which we own.

At a meeting yesterday with Nicholson Court residents it was drawn to my attention that nettles grow over 6 feet high in the Landscape Belt which is beyond the height of the fence.

I have requested ERYC to inform me which department maintains the Landscape Belt and details of the maintenance schedule for the Landscape Belt.
