East Riding residents will to shocked to learn that according to a statement on their own website Bridlington Golf Club have owned the freehold since 2017.

In effect this means that nothing can be built on the Golf Course without the permission of the Golf Club.

Questions must now be answered with regards how the freehold was sold.

I have requested a public statement from Caroline Lacey, ERYC Chief Executive, explaining the process of how the Bridlington Golf Club freehold was sold.

Should this be referred to the Police?
