I am pleased to confirm that the missing cycle waiting area north of the River Derwent in Stamford Bridge is to be reinstated.

ERYC have confirmed:

“The advanced stop line and waiting area for cyclists is being replaced on the northern side of the bridge, but due to the width restriction to accommodate right turn lane into Buttercrambe Road there isn’t sufficient width to install the lead-in cycle lane as there is on the southern side.”
