Heather Bank Cycle Path Safety Concerns

This morning I met with residents of Heather Bank, Stamford Bridge to discuss their safety concerns with regards the cycle path at the top of their street.

The cycle path emerges downhill between number 25 and 20. The concern is that when residents are driving onto their properties cyclists may be in danger as there are no safety measures in place to make them aware of vehicles ahead.

Although barriers can be seen further up the path I believe it would be sensible to secure safety barriers at the end of the cycle path.

Residents have purchased a mirror to assist the situation and just need ERYC to approve the erection of the mirror on number 23.

I have requested a site visit with an ERYC officer to meet with myself and residents to establish the best course of action.
