Not only did ERYC send an engineer to investigate the damage to Coopers Bridge, Wilberfoss on Saturday but they have also actioned the repairs for the next couple of weeks.

An ERYC officer has confirmed:

“The bridge was inspected on Saturday, the approach post and rails and the parapet upright has been damaged. The damage is minimal and the bridge does not need to be closed. Repairs will be organised and carried out in the next couple of weeks.”
