I am pleased to confirm that ERYC have repaired the broken fence on Hagg Bridge, Sutton Upon Derwent.

Temporary 20mph Speed Restriction

Following on from my meeting with Paul Bellotti, ERYC Interim Director of Environment and Neighbourhood Services on Wednesday, ERYC will also introduce a “temporary 20mph speed restriction will be in place along Hagg Lane, Sutton Upon Derwent over Hagg Bridge and 20m on both approaches to the bridge.

The emergency speed restriction is necessary to assess impact damage caused to the bridge parapets in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public.  The work is anticipated to be completed within approximately 3 weeks.”
