Stamford Bridge Co-op Informed Of Correct Route

Having watched a Co-op Lorry attempt to reverse from Church Road to Moor Road in Stamford Bridge I am pleased to report that ERYC have reminded delivery drivers to be aware of the correct route to take after visiting the store.

The manoeuvre involved parking on double yellows, attempting to reverse around a blind corner and causing traffic to build up. In the end the driver continued up the road and turned around in the Low Catton Road junction.

ERYC have confirmed:

“I have written to the Stamford Bridge Co-op store. I have asked them to contact their Transport Team to remind delivery drivers to be aware of the correct route to take after visiting the store, thereby avoiding having to perform the unnecessary turning procedure which you witnessed.”

Well done ERYC.
