I am pleased to confirm that the disabled parking bay in the Viking Road Car Park which is currently obstructing the footpath when in use will be slightly relocated.

ERYC have stated:

“Some patching and pothole repairs are required in the car park.  These are on order and will be completed within the next 2 weeks.

A lining ticket to refresh all the markings has been issued but the patching needs to be completed first.  I have followed your suggestion of moving the disabled bay at the end of the walkway back by 1.2 metres.  There is enough space to do this without affecting the usage of the disabled bay to its left side.  Once I have confirmation that the patching has been completed, I will chase up the liners.”
