Stamford Bridge residents will be pleased to learn that the forgotten resurfacing of Burton Fields junction will now be addressed.
When Burton Fields was resurfaced the junction was not resurfaced. Yet when the A166 was recently resurfaced again the junction was not resurfaced. As the resurfacing of this junction appears not to have been included in either contract I requested ERYC to investigated why this has happened.
A quick pot hole job was done as a result of my request.
Today ERYC confirmed:
“The pothole repairs are a temporary repair designed to remove any potential hazard.
We have raised a works ticket for a carriageway slurry seal repair which will surface over that section of the junction, this will be programmed in the next month or so or before the weather turns.”
Well done ERYC.
