The incompetence of ERYC never ceases to amaze me. A few months ago the reflector posts on Newbridge Lane, Stamford Bridge where replaced to prevent motorists driving into the dyke. A sensible safety measure.

The ERYC planning department then come along and put a planning application notice on one of the posts covering the reflector.

As the application notice is a danger to motorists I have requested that it is removed as a matter of urgency.

In addition I have suggested that the planning officers responsible are given training to prevent this happening again.
