There is concern that works on the Pocklington Bund may be causing pollution to Pocklington Beck.

A Pocklington resident last night emailed me at 18.24 and stated:

“Today at 17:15 we walked our dog along the banks of the Pocklington Beck on our regular evening walk . The Beck was crystal clear and we could see the fish. On our return just now we saw the attached (photo above) Someone is dumping something illegally in to the beck upstream.”

As this may be connected to works on the Bund I have referred to the ERYC Head of Planning and requested that he deals with this as appropriate.
