Yesterday, Councillor Andy Strangeway attended a meeting at Scarborough Hospital as the advocate for Graham Baverstock. Graham has been in the hospital since Thursday.

The meeting included two ERYC officers, a Sister, myself and Graham.

After an exchange of differences of opinion common sense prevailed. It was agreed to have a fresh start and to positively move forward.

It appears that the NHS staff I spoke to with regards Graham all agree that he requires a full care package.

It was agreed to look at putting together an interim package to facilitate Graham being in a position to leave hospital.

Graham will remain in hospital over the weekend. His health is failing with severe heart failure.

The staff at Scarborough hospital have been wonderful to Graham and are providing him with the care and support he deserves.
