I can confirm that a chariot and horses have been found on The Mile Development in Pocklington and it has been removed from the site.

Desecration Of Burial Site

As a chariot and horses have been found it is reasonable to expect this may be a burial site. My source has raised concerns that to remove anything from the site may amount to desecration.

How can we accept that desecration of a Roman burial site, or the building on top of it, is acceptable, yet we do not accept the desecration of sunken ships and we would not build where those who served in the First World War fell?

Desecration is desecration.
