Following on from yesterdays report about the flooding on Hathill Lane between Full Sutton and the Full Sutton Industrial estate I can now confirm that the road is closed.

While undertaking this mornings site visit nine vehicles ignored the road closed signs until they arrive at the scene above. One of these was a HGV.

I await an update from County Hall.
