Recently residents have informed me that they have damaged their vehicle on the protruding stone on Moor Road, Stamford Bridge.
The damage caused to vehicles can clearly be seen by the damage to the stone.
The narrow road signs do not warn motorists of the protruding stone and I believe ERYC must consider a better solution before more vehicles are damaged. Once into the narrow area motorists often have no option than to hit the stone if they meet a vehicle coming in the opposite direction.
I believe a “priority to oncoming vehicles ” system should be considered.
As an interim both the signs need to be straightened.
I have requested ERYC to straighten the signs at the earliest opportunity and consider all options to ensure vehicle’s cease to be damaged by the stone.
