Having received numerous complaints of anti social behaviour centred on Kilnwick Road bus shelter in Pocklington from residents living in the area I did a site visit on Sunday morning.

The shelter has been subjected to graffiti,

the seats have all been removed

and the frame-work designed to hold the seats has had two of the six bolts removed.

I have requested ERYC to address these issues at the earliest opportunity.

The irony of it all is that local residents inform me that the bus shelter is never used for the purpose intend.

As such I have requested ERYC to give consideration to relocating the bus shelter to West Green.

This will solve the need for a bus shelter on West Green and remove the focus of anti social behaviour on Kilnwick Road.
