Moor Road Bollards – Recent Accident

A van recently crashed into the open gully on Moor Road, Stamford Bridge where bollards have been knocked down.

This clearly demonstrates the need for the bollards in the short-term. In the longer term consideration must be given to undertaking works that will prevent vehicles crashing into the bollards on a stretch of road which continues to get busier.

As this stretch of road is often covered in ice in an attempt to save resources I have suggested to ERYC that consideration should be given to gritting this area of Moor Road.
