At my surgery in Stamford Bridge last Saturday a resident requested I take a look at the road surface of Hawthorn Drive, Wilberfoss.

I can confirm, that in my opinion, it is the worst road surface of any residential street in the Pocklington Provincial Ward. The road is made of concrete sections that appear to be at different heights and added to this is a patchwork road repairs.

I am in no doubt that no street of executive homes in Beverley would have such a poor road surface. There is most certainly a two tier system to road repairs in ERYC.

I have requested ERYC to give consideration to fully replacing the current failed road surface of Hawthorn Drive at the earliest opportunity.
