Thankfully more of us are aware of the importance of social mobility especially with regards the elderly and those with disabilities.

With this in mind I am at a loss why the large areas of concrete outside the bungalows on Ings Road, Wilberfoss do not have dropped kerbs. This makes it difficult for the elderly and disabled residents to get as near as possible to their properties.

I have requested ERYC to consider installing dropped kerbs as this will resolve the issue as well as being cost-effective.
