Pocklington residents will be pleased to note that the collapsed drain on New Street has been repaired.

The day after I reported it ERYC had placed two cones over the drain and four working days later it is repaired. Fundamental to this prompt response is the resident who raised the issue with me. I was then able to put onto the correct desk at County Hall.

I have since been informed that the drain had been collapsed for two weeks.

Could I please ask residents to report any such issue to me at the earliest opportunity in future?
