Yesterday I was pleased to confirm that the New Street collapsed drain in Pocklington had been repaired. Today we return to deal with a noisy manhole cover next to the location of collapsed drain.

Whenever a vehicle drives over the manhole it causes considerable noise that is not only disturbing residents it is also waking the residents children early.

I have requested ERYC to undertake the required work to the manhole.
