Several residents and businesses have rightly contacted me to question the lunacy of ERYC erecting a sign at the entrance to Market Place stating: “Market Place CLOSED every Tuesday for market”.

This is clearly incorrect. There is a parking restriction for a limited period but the businesses on Market Place are most certainly open for business on a Tuesday.

As the sign is giving a false statement that could have a negative effect for the businesses of Market Place I have requested ERYC remove the sign at the earliest opportunity.
