According to Scarborough Borough Council (SBC), all residents of and visitors to Scarborough must be an alcoholic or pay a £100 Fixed Penalty Notice. In their never-ending wisdom, SBC will fine everyone £100 if they “cease to consume…..alcohol….”.

I have registered a formal complaint with Lisa Dixon, the Director of Legal & Democratic Services at Scarborough Borough Council for the erecting signs in breach of legislation that forces the public to either be an alcoholic or pay a £100 Fixed Penalty Notice.

In addition, I have requested that all such signs be removed at the earliest opportunity.
