Councillor Peter Hemmerman, Market Weighton Town Council Mayor, appears to have failed to understand my simple Freedom of Information request.

Although I requested “Contact details of the CCTV Data Controller”

Councillor Hemmerman informed me “The data controller for the system is The Pocklington and Market Weighton Crime Prevention Panel.”

How “contact details” becomes “name” is known only to Councillor Hemmerman.

I have requested the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) to intervene.

Surely our Peter is not attempting to cover anything up?
