I would like to thank Barry Stockdale for drawing my attention to a mistake in Pocklington Residents Vote Against Conservative Councillors.
Mr Stockdale has informed me that the voting was not switched off to the Facebook post I quoted, which was made by him. I would like to apologise to Barry for my mistake.
ERYC Conservative Councillor Kay West
Yesterday afternoon Barry confirmed that not only was the voting not turned off but that the vote had turned even worse for the Tories from the previously quoted 89 to 1.
I can confirm that the latest score is that Pocklington residents have voted 102 to 1 against their three Conservative East Riding of Yorkshire Council (ERYC) Councillors when asked:
“Do you think our three Ward Councillors communicate, lead and engage with their community”
Pocklington Town Council (PTC)
I take my hat off to PTC Mayor Dean Hodgson
and his fellow PTC Councillor Martin Cooper
who both voted against the Conservative Councillors.
Perhaps we will now see Dean and Martin communicate, lead and engage with their community by informing Pocklington residents that they have turned a blind eye to the unlawful Pocklington CCTV system that the PTC operate.
Full Sutton And Skirpenbeck Parish Council (FSSPC)
I also take my hat off to Sarah Davies, Chair of FSSPC
who also voted against the Conservative Councillors.
Perhaps we will now see Sarah communicate, lead and engage with her community by informing Full Sutton and Skirpenbeck residents that, along with ERYC Wolds Weighton Conservative Ward Councillor Leo Hammond, she mislead residents regards the Stamford Bridge Boundary Change.
What a tangled web local politics in Pocklington appears to be. Perhaps a Zoom group hug should be scheduled?
