Yesterday was my first-day delivering leaflets for the 2023 ERYC Election. I could not have picked a more glorious day.

My time was spent in Stamford Bridge focusing on Godwin Vale and part of Battleflats. While Ruth continued to be busy in the centre of Pocklington, others were concentrating on alternative areas.

For those who may be considering delivering leaflets in the future, I highly recommend the essential wooden spoon. Some letterboxes attempt to do battle with your hand and then there is the over-enthusiastic dog who believes his favourite takeaway has arrived.

A simple food spoon prevents all such hindrances by using it to push each leaflet through.
