I am pleased to confirm that there will be 12 candidates standing in the Pocklington Provincial Ward for the ERYC Election on Thursday 4 May 2023.

I would like to wish all candidates an enjoyable and harmonious campaign.

Residents can vote for up to three candidates, but can also vote for one or two. I encourage all electors to place their cross or crosses as appropriate. Please be mindful that this is a once in four years opportunity.

For the Statements of Persons Nominated, I made the decision not to use the generic term “independent” under the Description of Candidate column, but to stand purely as Andy Strangeway.
